Getting there
As the Maldives is spread across the Indian ocean, the most practical way to reach is by air. However, some arrive by sea, on board cruises or private yachts.
Velana International Airport is the main international airport of the Maldives, with weekly flights from all major cities you are sure to find a flight, either direct trips or by connecting flights via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, or Colombo with one to three flights each day.

A selection of stays come packaged with flight, transfer to the accommodation. It is advised to book in advance if you're planning your visit during the winter season. What to pack
Bikinis, Swimsuits, Sunscreen and mosquito repellents are advised, most items are readily available in resorts or inhabited islands. Resorts may often demand their guests to cover a bit more during lunch and dinner.
